On January 15th & 16th, 2010, at the Gananoque Catering & Curling Club, our Association held their 22nd Annual Curling Bonspiel. Participants enjoyed a weekend of fun, food, refreshments and curling to support this GFFA fundraising event. Proceeds from this bonspiel have allowed us to purchase an ICE COMMANDER - Ice/Water Rescue Suit. Also this January, Mr. Chris McCarney and Mr. John Keilty donated one of these suits to the Gananoque Fire Department, allowing us to respond safely to ice water rescue emergency calls.
